Every wedding that I’m blessed to photograph has felt magical. But Bree & Vinnie’s Disney inspired nuptials felt like magic AND a fairytale. Honestly, I don’t think Walt Disney himself could’ve dreamt up a more perfect event!
For these love birds, Disney has been the theme for their entire relationship. Having both been part of a Disney Facebook group, Bree & Vinnie connected over Disney pins. Of course, their first date had to be at Disney World. For the proposal, Vinnie spelled out “Will You Marry Me?” on a board with rare Disney pins that he hunted down for Bree. Because Disney played such a huge part in bringing them together, they wanted to include the theme for their wedding day.
Bree & Vinnie chose the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ as their venue. They transformed it into their very own “Disney World” for the day. Every small detail was well thought out and somehow connected to Disney, from the cake, to the table numbers, to the colors.
A beautiful color combination of plum, burnt orange, and green made for the perfect fall Disney theme. Bree’s bridesmaids wore stunning plum-colored dresses, and the floral bouquets put the New Jersey fall landscape to shame with their beauty!
Speaking of beauty, Bree looked like an actual princess in her dress! She wore a sweetheart-cut gown with lace detail and a simple, yet stunning, veil. Her groom wore a charcoal grey tux with a black tie and black shoes. The perfect combination for the perfect couple!
When it came time for Vinnie to see his soon-to-be-wife, Bree walked up behind him and told him to turn around. In awe of her beauty, Vinnie started tearing up, which led to no dry eyes! It was such a special moment!
Thanks to Mother Nature, the wedding ceremony was moved inside, but Bree & Vinnie weren’t going to let anything rain on their parade! It turned out as if everything had been planned that way from the start. Standing in front of their family and friends, Bree & Vinnie promised their forever to one another.
After the “I do’s”, the party moved into the reception, which felt like walking into a Disney castle with all of the beautiful decor! For the cocktail hour, guests were served delicious sushi. Later on in the evening, Bree & Vinnie practically brought in an entire bakery to serve pastries! Such a sweet gesture (literally and figuratively)!
Bree & Vinnie’s first dance as a married couple was, of course, to a Disney song! As they swayed to “I See The Light” from the Tangled movie, you could just feel the magic in the air. Later on, Bree danced with Vinnie’s dad to “We Are Family”, and their smiles couldn’t have been bigger. I always love seeing the two families bond after becoming one.
My favorite part of the day was seeing the couple’s personalities and the true love that they share. When Vinnie stood up at the reception to say a few words, you could tell that he fiercely loves his wife. He treats Bree like a queen, which she absolutely deserves. She is so selfless, sweet, and humble.
It is so apparent that Bree found her Prince Charming, and they will live happily ever after!
