Being a New Jersey based wedding photographer means that I have the chance to work at some of the most beautiful venues on the East Coast on a regular basis. We’re lucky to have so many wonderful venue options right within our reach. Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest and most important decisions when planning your wedding. The choice you make informs many more of your decisions, including your color palette, attire, and vendor selection. That’s why I want to highlight three of my favorite wedding venues in New Jersey to jump start your list of places to visit when picking your wedding venue!
Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury
Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury may be one of my all-time favorite spots to photograph weddings. Not only does Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury this place has amazing nooks for a beautiful backdrop, they treated me with so much kindness. Their ceremony space is heaven. The entire venue has a touch of editorial looks and elegance. Honestly, my style of photography falls right to it. It’s a beautiful option for a classic and clean look on your wedding day. Oh, and can we talk about the cocktail hour locations? AAAHHMAZING!
Crossed Keys Estate
If you’re looking for a quiet and serene spot for your wedding day, Crossed Keys Estate is the place for you. The property is home to beautiful gardens, acres of land, and historic buildings. It’s such a beautiful option for a sophisticated outdoor celebration. They have a tent for outdoor celebrations, the two suites for bride and groom and the owner is very hands on with every single thing on the day of your wedding. The entire team cares for you just as much as they care for their vendors. I absolutely love Crossed Keys Estate!
Park Chateau Estate
Park Chateau Estate is extra special to me because I got married here! I consider myself lucky to be able to be back here on a regular basis now, especially as a former bride. The smell of this place hasn’t changed one bit and every time I show up, I go back to my own wedding day. One of my favorite spots is the grand entrance stairwell – it’s perfect for a first look with your spouse or family members. And it’s such a romantic portrait spots later in the day! Park Chateau Estate has lots of scenic view and their ceremony space is beautiful. I can’t get enough of every detail of this place! If you’re looking for a romantic and timeless option, check out Park Chateau Estate!
