Meagan and James are married! I had the joy and privilege of capturing their Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club wedding this summer. Their wedding day was relaxed, filled with pastel blooms, and all Meagan wanted was to party—capturing those moments in the photos was everything!
Their Love Story
Meagan and James met in Hoboken three years ago through a mutual friend, but they didn’t see each other for three months due to quarantine—James was in Florida for work, and Meagan had COVID. Despite the distance, they talked every day. Later, he took her to a Sandals resort in Antigua, where he proposed on the beach while she was a bit hungover and not fully aware of what was happening!
Summer Wedding Day in New Jersey
This summer wedding day was so fun and gorgeous! Meagan and James prepared onsite before meeting for a first look. They were able to exchange vows privately during their first look – which I found so special. It was a nice quiet moment just for them before the party really started. Meagan, James, and their bridal party were great sports in the warm weather, posing for photos around the property. I personally loved the ones in front of Fiddler’s Elbow! It’s such a gorgeous backdrop.
Meagan and James held their ceremony on the patio outside the country club. The pastel florals carried through around the arbor they stood under while exchanging vows. It was such a pretty sight! Those same colors continued into the ballroom for their reception decor, too. Meagan’s vision of overflowing flowers really came to life and made the space feel so lush and welcoming. The rest of the evening was spent dancing away with their loved ones. I stole Meagan and James for some nighttime portraits, which were so fun. You can just tell they’re so in love and were so happy on their wedding day!
