I LOVE love. I love capturing all phases of love with my camera – weddings, engagements, and couples sessions. Hearing each love story warms my heart and having the opportunity to photograph these special moments makes me so happy.

Speaking of happy, don’t these two look so happy together?! Kristi & Addison’s couples session at Sandy Hook, NJ took place along the beach at sunset, and it could not have been more beautiful. The scene was as whimsical as the couple themselves. Kristi wore a stunning blush-colored maxi dress, and Addison’s denim button down shirt complemented her outfit perfectly. Kristi’s smile was absolutely contagious, and Addison’s eyes lit up as the couple enjoyed their time together in the sand.

The ability that these two had to mirror my suggestions and to pose perfectly together was as if they were models! However, as I got to know Kristi and Addison during this session, I came to find that this wasn’t the case. Addison is a freelance musician and songwriter, as well as an audio engineer. He’s also studying to become a commercial pilot. Kristi is the founder of multiple businesses, the most notable being VA for a day, her virtual assistant business. Phew, these two are go-getters! I’m so glad they were able to take time away from visiting Kristi’s family in New Jersey to share this special evening with me.

This casual session, filled with lots of laughter, happened just as the sun was setting on a gorgeous evening. The perfect lighting matched the glow that Kristi & Addison’s love radiates. It is so apparent that they are head over heels for each other. Once again, however, I found out that this wasn’t the case…at least not until several years ago.

Kristi & Addison’s love story started out as one of friendship. Having met five years ago while both studying at James Madison University, these two were the best of friends. Sharing a love of music, especially rock-and-roll, these two were destined to be together forever, they just didn’t realize it for a year and a half! Their friendship eventually blossomed into a relationship, and the rest is history. They’ve been together for three and half years, and their love is stronger than ever. They currently live in Nashville with their two cats.

I absolutely adore these two and their easy-going personalities. They were such a great couple to work with. Kristi & Addison, thank you so much for letting me capture your love with my camera!
