Phil and Jackie were the absolute sweetest couple, and I was beyond thrilled to be a part of their big day at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville! It was a stunning wedding filled with love and laughter as we celebrated the newlyweds.

Their love story began after meeting briefly during a night out with mutual friends—and it almost ended there, too! After not getting a chance to exchange numbers that night Jackie wasn’t sure what was going to happen. But Phil couldn’t get her off his mind and finally reached out to her via Facebook. And after that, as they say, the rest is history.

As their love grew stronger Phil began planning a romantic proposal that would sweep her off her feet all over again (and, I have to say, I think he pulled it off!). After a dinner date in NewYork Phil got down on one knee on the New Jersey pier and, with the New York City Skyline in the background, asked Jackie to be his forever. And—spoiler alert—she said yes. 

Their wedding echoed their relationship in that it was a fabulously fun and heartfelt affair. It all started with a gorgeous ceremony at Nanina’s in the Park where they exchanged vows in front of family and friends. You could feel the love and tenderness between them throughout the ceremony. My heart was so full as I watched them become husband and wife.

After they sealed it with a kiss we headed out to start taking pictures, and I was in awe of how beautiful the grounds were! This was such a fun group to photograph. Everyone was brimming with excitement and laughter, which is exactly what we wedding photographers hope for! Shortly after we made our way to the reception where the festivities were well under way. Everything was decorated to perfection (the décor was one of Jackie’s favorite parts of the day), and you could tell the guests were having the time of their lives. After everyone enjoyed their dinner the bridal party began their toasts. Some were funny. Some were heartfelt. And the best ones were a combination of both. But no matter who was speaking you could tell they had so much love for Phil and Jackie.

The night ended with a packed dance floor and smiling faces. With raised glasses and well wishes. It was a perfect night for Phil and Jackie, and I’m so thankful I could be there to help them preserve those memories for a lifetime.
