Yesterday I did an in-home session with the sweetest family including two little ones, Gianni and Eliana. The family was so welcoming and couldn’t have been easier to work with. Eliana was a precious little bundle of joy. And Gianni was a kind and loving big brother to his new baby sister.

With young ones around, you might think that the environment could be chaotic or loud, but the session was so calm and also still fun. Grandma was around to keep the baby entertained, fed and happy. Mom and Dad were just as sweet and attentive.

We shot in different places in the house and Eliana’s room just screams little girl–so much pink! She is a lucky little girl and her whole family is so full of joy.

As a photographer, the best thing about these kinds of sessions is getting to know a family and have a glimpse into their lives. What’s even better is when they are a family you can get along with, when you make a connection. It makes for a positive experience on both my part and theirs when everyone is comfortable and happy.
