“The love of a family makes life beautiful”

On Saturday, December 12th I had the privilege of photographing my friend Stephanie and her family. We met for the shoot at Watchung Stables, NJ, and the weather was delightful. Even though it is mid-December, it was a warm and sunny day.

I have known Stephanie for 12 years now, and next year I have the privilege of photographing her wedding. Stephanie and her fiancée Damien are made for each other. I am overjoyed to see Stephanie with the man who makes her so incredibly happy. Damien had us all laughing the entire day. Just look at the love on their faces for each other!

Some of my favorite shots during our day were the pictures I captured of Stephanie and 6 year old Briel. Briel is a delight to be around…a total sweetheart and absolutely in love with Shopkins! Stephanie and Briel are very close and have a special relationship, and that can be seen in these pictures through their hugs, smiles and of course their matching tutu’s, made by Stephanie herself.

Watchung Stables was the perfect backdrop for this family photoshoot. It’s no secret that I love combining the outdoors into my photoshoots, and this family fit perfectly into the backdrop of fall leaves and the the silhouette of trees shedding their leaves to prepare for winter. The family wanted to pose some shots near the horses and even the horses were cooperative during our photos!
